This class is will increase the health of your bones, based on Dr. Loren Fishman's medical research on how yoga can reverse the progression of osteopenia and osteoporosis. We practice with a focus on alignment and building muscular and bone strength. This class is appropriate for all levels and all ages—we move slowly, with precision, and hold poses for longer periods of time than in a typical vinyasa class, so every student can work at their own level. This is a strong but gentle class, and sometimes turns into a therapeutics workshop, so come with questions!
